Markins QR-70P-3/8 Panorama Quick Shoe

Markins QR-70P-38 Panoramic Quick Shoe is a 360 degree rotating panoramic quick shoe for UNC 3/8-16 bolt.

This type is attached to UNC 3/8-16 bolt. It can be used by attaching it to a 3WAY head or an old type (not i-Type) Markins head.

Many people may wonder why a separate panoramic quick shoe is needed when panoramas can be taken with a free head, but since the base of the free pan head is fixed to a tripod, In locations other than flat ground, the tripod will tilt, making it difficult to take accurate panoramic shots.

Of course, in normal shooting, there is no problem if you tilt the ball and level it, but when shooting panoramas, even if you shift the composition slightly to the side, you will need to level it again.

Now, you might think that there is no problem if you level the tripod, but adjusting the level by extending and retracting the tripod legs is not easy and takes a lot of time.

That's why you need this panoramic quick shoe. The free head corrects the tilt of the tripod and rotates the quick shoe, making it possible to take accurate panoramic shots.

A compact size was achieved by reviewing the existing design. Moreover, the height is only 24mm. Since the center of gravity is kept low, vibrations are also suppressed.


A quick-turn knob that can be attached and detached in approximately one turn allows for quick attachment and detachment of equipment.


A double disc system is used for panning. Due to the wedge shape, even with a small amount of force, it boasts a powerful torque that is 50% more than the conventional model. There is no movement of the rotation axis when locked, so you can take panoramic shots with high clarity.
